What is Phone Number Management? #

Phone Number Management allows you to link one or more phone numbers to your consultant account and choose which number you want to be reachable on for consults.

Why do I need to link a phone number? #

Without a linked phone number, clients cannot reach you for phone consults.

How do call costs work? #

The cost of outbound calls is covered by the platform. This means it does not matter whether you link a mobile or landline number.

Our system automatically checks the cost of calling your number. If these costs exceed the platform fee, the number cannot be added. This situation is rare.

How do I add a phone number? #

Go to Settings → Phone Number Management, click Add new number, enter the number, and complete the verification process.

Can I use multiple phone numbers? #

Yes. You can add multiple numbers and easily switch which number is active.

What is an active number? #

The active number is the number on which you receive all incoming phone consults. You can always see which number is active in your account and change it at any time.

Do I need to verify every number? #

Yes. Every added number must be verified before it can be used.

Can clients see my phone number? #

No. Clients call via the platform and never see your real phone number. It is important to disable your voicemail. You can read why this matters here.

What happens if I remove my active number? #

You will need to set another number as active in order to remain reachable for phone consults.

Can I use my private or an international number? #

Yes. Both private and international numbers are allowed, as long as they are entered correctly with the appropriate country code.

What if I am not receiving any calls? #

Check whether:

• the correct number is set as active
• the number has been verified
• your phone is reachable (no blocks or call forwarding enabled)

How can I best protect my privacy? #

Disable voicemail on numbers used for consults. This prevents personal messages from being played and avoids clients spending credits on voicemail.

Tip for optimal use #

Keep your phone numbers up to date and regularly check which number is active. This helps you avoid missed calls and stay easily reachable.
